The Learning Enrichment Foundation (LEF) is a registered non-profit charity celebrating over 40 years as a leader in Community Economic Development, delivering quality, holistic, integrated community-responsive initiatives across the City of Toronto since 1978.
About
Our holistic and integrated model includes employment supports, settlement services, languages and skills training programs, youth programs, seniors programs, child care, and skills honing opportunities through social enterprise.
As a registered Private Career College (PCC) with the Ministry of Colleges and Universities, we offer skills training programs that boost career potential, and support employers in accessing funding for training for new and existing employees.
With industry-led training programs and education, all our programs are grounded in the needs of the employers and based on providing skills that lead to employment. We continually work with employers and adapt the curriculum to meet industry demands.
LEF is the third-largest provider of Child Care in Toronto, operating thirty-two licensed Child Care Centres and Before & After School Programs. We work closely with the community, leveraging more than 300 community organization partnerships and over 400 hundred established employer relationships. LEF currently employs over 400 staff and serves more than 10,000 people each year.
