Requirements

1. Minimum of Secondary School Education

2. Must have Forklift License/Training

3. Must have basic computer skills

Responsibilities

Authorized to ship finished product in conformance with customer requirements
Authorized to add customer address/ship to labels to outgoing shipments as required
Receives orders based on Purchase Order Receivers and performs Incoming Inspection as required
Loading/ Unloading of trucks
Complete all relevant paperwork
Obtaining quotes and arranging to ship
Communicating with customers concerning order pick-ups
Comply with all Procedures that relate to Shipping & Receiving Departments
Store all finished goods in the storage area
Preparation of the order for shipment ie. Wrap and strap skids
Responsible for keeping the Shipping/Finished Goods Area clean
Maintain Housekeeping Log for Receiving & Shipping Area
Maintain and complete daily the Prestart Up Inspection on the forklift
Adhering to all health and safety regulations of the company
Assist at Receiving/Shipping as and when required
Additional responsibilities as directed by the Production Manager
