Qualifications
What you will bring:
- At least (3+) years’ experience in a Human Resources role that includes coaching, employee relations, recruiting, compensation, training, leave management and/or HR project or program implementation
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- CHRP/CHRL preferred
- Knowledge and expertise in HR policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge of provincial employment law and regulatory bodies.
- Critical thinking, proactive attitude, strong writing and oral communication skills.
- Demonstration of strong time and work management skills with a progressive, people forward attitude.
- Experience with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
What you will do:
- Collaborate effectively with the Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Payroll and other shared services functions to support new employee onboarding
- Partner with all departments to provide consultation for business processes, and provide guidance on employee management
- Conduct employee relations investigations and provide timely resolution by providing guidance to leadership and working directly with employees
- Proactively identify opportunities and assess improvements to the employee experience and partner with management to develop and implement innovative and lasting solutions.
- Participate in HR Related projects to ensure project deliverables are effective and completed on time
- Consult and advise on Human Resources policies and practices, and partner with the HR Compliance & Policy specialist on the development of new policies.
- Support HR and Health and Safety Committee on grievances and accident and incident related issues, including tracking information for reports.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee data, ensuring data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture and enhance employee satisfaction and retention

- Other duties as assigned

Location: Successful candidate will be working in a hybrid work environment, with 3 days onsite per week from our primary office location near Yonge and Eglington.
