Responsibilities
•Handle routine communication
•Maintain and coordinate active calendars
•Organize social events for the team
•Maintain electronic file organization based on office protocol
•Coordinate flow of client information
•Maintain databases with client and firm information
•Handle customer billings and payments
•Control and order supplies and manage the accounts payable function for the firm
•Assemble tax and accounting documents (mostly electronic) for distribution to clients
•Provide ad hoc support around office as needed
Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree, College diploma or equivalent training in office administration
•Previous office administration experience
•Strong interpersonal, customer service, communication and organizational skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
•Some previous training in accounting or bookkeeping
•A desire to exceed client expectations
•Good time management skills
•Prior work experience in an accounting firm or environment would be an asset
